Our Grandfather, the pioneer, founded the winery. The vineyards are only planted with Riesling and Grüner Veltliner and has a current size of 8 hectares. The vineyards are on the southern slopes of Gedersdorf, Rohrendorf and Krems where, favoured of the micro climate of the danube, our wines ripe to it's best.

Our vineyards are situated in Tola’s estate of Bosco Falconeria and Giambascio at about 400 mt asl, in the most glamorous Sicilian " terroir " , between Palermo and Trapani, where planes blowed by warm winds of Scirocco and light sea breeze let place to the sweet and sunny hills.

Our traditional estate in St. Georgen was first named in the year 1648! From a mixed agricultural farm it was turned into a winery in the year 1961 – where from 1965 to 1991 also a “Buschenschank” was open. The continuous improvement of the quality of the wines and the growing challenge to produce the highest quality of wine, leaded the development of the company since the beginning of the eighties.

The winery of Kurt Angerer stands for the special connection of nature and culture as well as the wealth of ideas and creativity of a wine-grower.  In the region Kamptal, the healthy vines of Kurt Angerer face a south, south western direction protected from the rough north winds. This vineyard location called Rieden boasts an astounding mix of unique Austrian as well as international types of vines.

Our Farm has been built by our great great grand father about 200 years ago. It spans over around 200 hectars. Obout 20 hectars are dedicated to vinyards. We also produce olive oil and we have about 9.000 olive trees. It is located in the province of Siena, right below Florence, deep in the very heart of Tuscany.

By totally avoiding any use of chemicals in our grape production, LaRocca Vineyards ensures that no toxic residue effects the purity of our wines. In 1998, California farmers used 215 million pounds of chemicals. Reports filed with California's agricultural authorities list 17 "highly poisonous" insecticides, fungicides and herbicides used in conventional grape production.

Our winery is situated in the wine growing region Neusiedlersee – Burganland, near the lake Neusiedl and near the Hungarian border. (approx. 50 km southeast of Vienna). The forefathers of our traditional wine growing family laid the founding stone of the estate in the year late 16th century. Quality, not quantity, together with the potential of the best single vineyards are forming the base of the greatest wines.

The Dreyer Family bought the farm, Remhoogte south east of Hermanus in the Akkedisberg area in 1982. Piet Dreyer was doing commercial fishing at the time. They ran livestock and later planted citrus trees. Piet’s wife and children tended the farm in his absence. During 1999 the Dreyers planted 10 hectares Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz.

Our winery is located in the quaint-town of Moenchhof, Austria’s oldest wine growing community (since 1217) east of Lake Neusiedl in sunny Burgenland. Burgenland is today’s 9th province of Austria but until 1921 it was still a part of Hungary.

The Winery is located in the south-eastern part of Styria, in the heart of the volcanic region of styria, only a few kilometres away from Slovenian and Hungarian border. The vineyards of the winery are all put on the steep slopes of a former volcanic hill – the “Kapfensteiner Kogl”. In addition to the Kapfensteiner Kogl, since the year 2004 the vineyards of the Winery Stürgkh in Klöch, 12 kilometres away from Kapfenstein, are managed by Winkler Hermaden.

In 1938, responsible members of the guild founded WINZER KREMS. The present "Hauervater", Eduard Felsner, was chairman of the board of WINZER KREMS until 2005. Today, the chairman Franz Bauer controls, together with 19 members of the board, the destiny of Austria’s largest wine producers. The heritage of wine growing in Krems is deeply rooted in the old traditions, thus guaranteeing connoisseur of superior quality - vintage after vintage.

Our wine-growers organization was founded in 1897. Today we have 45 vintners who deliver grapes from the Erbach and Kiedrich vineyards to our cellar. There is close a relationship with our vintners, who are all part owners of our winery, all of whom have access to highly skilled and experienced viticultural advice.
