In the year 2000 one man had a vision: To bring some of the best wines, beers and spirits into the province of Alberta. His name was Vern Raincock, founder and president of DeLancey Direct Inc.

With obtaining the importing License for Alberta, Vern started immediately bringing some of the world’s best beers and wines into the country. Beers from small breweries in UK, Belgium and Germany, as well as wines from Austria, Australia and France have been imported in this early stage of the company.

Now, DeLancey Direct has grown to one of the biggest importers in Alberta. Not only serving the provinces in Alberta, but also in the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and British Columbia it has grown to the one of the largest Importers in western Canada. DeLancey Direct is currently known for importing hand crafted beers made in small micro breweries all over the world. The list of the countries is expanded, including Canadian products.

Over the years, the numbers of imported and represented product was growing continiously and reached 15,000 cases of beer, 2,000 cases of wine and about 500 cases of spirits in one year.

All products imported and represented by DeLancey Direct are carefully selected by our Category Managers. Our Category Managers are highly experienced and have a long history with their products they are responsible for.
